1928 Founding of Information et Publicité, a company aiming to create and exploit all forms of modern advertising.
First media principle: the Compagnie Française de Radiophonie.

1931 Beginning of a collaboration with the Compagnie Luxembourgeoise de Radiodiffusion - which will later become the CLT - with media handling for Radio Luxembourg.

1938 Founding of a first subsidiary: IPB in Brussels, in charge of marketing the Radio Luxembourg programme in Belgium.

1945 Havas enters IP's capital as a 98% majority shareholder.

1958 Founding of IPA in Frankfurt, which will become IP Multimedia Deutschland at the end of 94.

1963 Founding of IPL in Luxembourg.

1982 IP buys a stake into Intervoz in Lisbon.

1985 Founding of IPA-plus in Germany.

1987 Founding of IP Presse in France, then Presse 31 et Cie and buying of OSP S.A.

1988 IP takes a stake in the press group Senger in Switzerland.

1989 Founding of IP FM in France, IPN in the Netherlands.

1990 Founding of IP Kiev in Ukraine, IP Riga in Latvia, IP Praha in the Czech Republic and IP Arbo.

1991 Founding of IP Budapest in Hungary, Accion IP in Spain and IP Bratislava in Slovakia.
IP strengthens its position on the British market by taking a majority stake in Capital Radio, the leading company in commercial radio in the U.K.
IP founds IP Network, the first international network for media sales representation.

1992 Founding of IPA-plus Schweiz in Switzerland, which will become later IP Multimedia.

1993 IP becomes IP Groupe a Havas subsidiary.
Founding of IP Minsk in Belarus, IP Polska in Poland and IP Vilnius in Lithuania.
In Hungary, IP Budapest becomes IP Hungary, Already present in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and France, IP Network opens new offices in Copenhagen and Lisbon, enters in partnership with Media House, the leading Japanese company in foreign media representation and signs a cooperation agreement with TSMS, the leading TV sales house in the U.K.

1994 Founding of IP Multimedia Tallinn in Estonia. IP Network opens a new office in Moscow and enters in partnership with TeleRep, the leading company in TV sales representation in the United-States.

1995 Founding of IP Bucuresti in Rumania, IP Baltic in the Baltic States IPA-plus Österreich in Austria and IP Türkiye in Turkey. Opening of a representation office in Beijing and founding of IP Asia in Hong Kong, as a base in charge of IP's development in the Asian area.
Founding of a 50/50 joint-venture between IP Groupe and Reuters which will develop and market online information distibution and transaction services for the European advertising and media market.

1996 Creation of Havas Intermediation , a 100% subsidiary of the Havas group. Havas Intermediation is the new name for IP Groupe S.A. and is based on 4 entities: an electronic distribution network, Adways, a tool and service providing structure for media, Peaktime, a sales operator, IP and an international representation network, IP Network.
Founding of a 50/50 joint-venture in India between Havas Intermediation and Primetime's shareholders: Primetime IP.

1997 IP Network enters in partnership with Attract, leading international sales company in Scandinavia which will represent IP Network's portfolio in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.
