1980 | AN INTERNATIONAL DECADE Conquering the West Already present in Germany, Belgium, France and Luxembourg, in the 80's IP enters Portugal, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Spain and Austria. |

1990 | Pioneers in the "New Europe"
Starting in 1990, IP turns to Central and Eastern Europe for growth, and creates new subsidiaries successively in Ukraine, the Baltic States, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Belarus, Poland, Romania and Turkey. |

1991 | Worldwide network The group's international representation network IP Network is created in 1991. It enters Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, Russia and the UK, and concludes partnership agreements with market leaders in Japan and the USA. New Horizons |

1995 | ENTERING THE INTERMEDIATION ERA In 1995, the group undergoes considerable change. Two years of research by nearly one hundred IPers on media sales business evolutions and business performance optimization result in a vast corporate strategy project. The first stages of the project are implemented: IP and Reuters join to create an electronic information and transaction services company for advertising and media markets in continental Europe. IP also designs new audience, media planning and media revenue optimization software and services. |

1996 | A NEW GROUP IS BORN At the start of 1996, the group is reorganized in four distinct business areas: ADWAYS, the network for advertising created by the IP-Reuters partnership, PEAKTIME, service provider for media, IP NETWORK, international representation network, and IP, sales operator. The holding company with participations in the four businesses is renamed Havas Intermediation, and is part of the "audiovisual" branch of HAVAS. |

1997 | DEVELOPMENT IN SCANDINAVIA IP Network concludes partnership agreement with ATTRACT, a highly successful international representation company with offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen and Helsinki to represent its portfolio in Scandinavia.
