IP LUXEMBOURG EXTENDS ITS PRESS PORTFOLIO
IP Luxembourg, a branch of Havas Intermediation, signed an exclusive media sales contract with LE JEUDI and WEEKEND!. TAGEBLATT entrusted also the company to handle advertising space on both Belgian and German markets.
Launched in April 1997, Le Jeudi is the first Luxemburgish weekly completly published in French. Its target: all Luxembourgers as well as a major part of foreigners, residents or inhabitants of the border using French as common language.
Weekend! is a weekly free sheet advertising combining power and cost saving: its cost per thousand is indeed the lawest in all the Luxembourgish press sector.
The Luxemburgish daily Tageblatt is an historical corner stone of the Luxembourgish press sector and posts today 77.000 readers/daily.
For the record, IPL, present in Luxembourg since 1963, carries on its business within the five major media. Indeed, the company handles media sales for the national television channel, RTL, for four radio stations (RTL, RTL "Die Grössten Oldies", Radio Latina and Eldoradio), and 6 magazines (Revue, Télé Revue, D'Letzebuerger Land, Autotouring-ACL, Auuto Revue and Graffiti). IPL sells also advertising space for Euromobile (Mobile poster), urban planimeters as well as the whole cinema national network.
Under its sales operator designation IP, the Havas Intermediation group is also present in 21 other countries (Austria, Belarus, Belgium, China, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, The Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine) where it already markets advertising space for over 67 press titles, 63 inflight magazines and various other media.
