RENAUD VIELJEUX AT THE HEAD OF IP FRANCE
Renaud Vieljeux will take over the running of IP France from May 1 1997 onwards.
As is the case for the other companies in the group, his task will be to participate in the refocusing of IP France on its sales core business, as defined in the Havas Intermediation corporate project one year ago.
Concretely, he will be responsible for integrating the new sales support tools designed by Havas Intermediation for all its European subsidiaries and also for concentrating his teams' output on audiovisual.
This orientation will enable IP France to strenghten the sales effectiveness of its radio and television media, particularly for its leading radio RTL.
Renaud Vieljeux, 37, made the majority of his career in the fields of sales, and mostly in advertising. After an advertiser and an agency-side experience, he gets into the media world as soon as 1983 by entering the economical and financial press area. From 1986 to 1988, he helds the position of Advertising Director at the group L’Express. In 1988 he joins IP as Director of Sud Radio's division. Two years later he handles the sales management of RTL. In '93, he is appointed IP Radio Director. At present, he is Deputy Chief Executive of IP France.
